Design concept:

Postwar Taiwan was influenced by the modernism, the post-modernism and other recent styles in Europe, Japan, and the USA. Buildings of the modernism increased as time went by the development of the country.
In this trend of modernism, the establishment of Tunghai University not only combines traditional Chinese architecture culture and modern International styles but also respond to the base elegantly.

According to the following two principles:

1. This project I want to expose the architectural relationship between “invisible” and “unspeakable”.Using the existing clues in the context establish a “linking relationship” with the newly-involved buildings by the human scale and spatial forms. And users can also realize these existing clues in the project.
2. Analyze the particular sense of order in “Art Center” that design by Mr.Chi Kwan, Chen, and then used the analysis results as the basis for the additional design.
